This product has improved my satellite radio experience immeasurably. Extremely easy to set up. A good size for portability. I've tried it all over the house and outside and have had excellent reception everywhere. One comment: it could use a better handle for carrying around. The sound from the speakers is great. The power cord has been long enough for all the places I have used it.
Strengths: compact, easy to carry with you; versatile w/battery or AC plug connections
Weakness: needs a carry handle; antenna cord way too long; volume knob a little "touchy" (you turn it & it does not always go up or down as much as you think)
This is a great way to take XM Radio with you anywhere! Work, pool, on vacation, you don't have to leave it at home. Very easy to use, just plug in the Delphi XM Radio Tuner & go. The batteries make it a bit heavy, however, it also has an AC adapter to plug it in. You can even use headphones with it. Great product, would definitely buy it again!
Strengths: ease of use, flexible carry option and better than expected sound quality
Weakness: can eat up batteries, use the DC cord and hate that it is a separate required option in order to use the receiver SA10000
recently purchased as a after gift present. Like the portability & ease of use. prefer this over the sony alternative option. Quality and more durable. adds a Stylist Bose like appearance on my office desk.

I have both the car and boombox from Delphi. I really like the ability to pop the receiver out of the boombox and put in the car unit and vice versa. Sound quality is excellent. I have not used it with batteries. Cost seems a bit much when one considers the guts are in the receiver and not the boombox but it probably come down over time. Weakness: Antennae must be very near a window to get good reception
Easy to set up and installation manual walked you through the process. Quality is good. Antennae can be touchy about where it needs to be placed. Sound is great. Very portable. Very satisfied.

Like mentioned above, powered antenna would be nice, it took me about 2 hours to find the perfect spot where it gets singal reliably. Granted i am setting it up in a basement so this is not a problem, Im just happy it works there honestly. Stronger reception would be cool though. Overall i really like the boombox thing.

I FOUND THE STEREO SOUND FROM THE UNIT TO BE QUITE ACCEPTABLE. I FOUND THE VOLUME CONTROL TO BE EASY TO USE & VERY SENSITIVE. THE ONLY DRAWBACKS I FOUND WITH THIS UNIT IS THE ANTENNA MOUNTING ON THE BACK OF THE UNIT. excellent add-on for the skyfi satellite radio owner...once you use it in your car you become addicted and pretty much need a venue to continue to play music when out of the car...works like a charm and sounds good too!
