Strengths: Resolution, Brightness, Multiple HDMI inputs.
Weakness: Slightly bulkier
This is my first 1920x1080P projector. I have connected this to multiple HDMI sources including a media center computer, having 3 HDMI inputs is a plus. The resolution as well as contrast ratio are both excellent. This has 1500 ANSI lumens, which are amongst the highest. The overall size is bulkier. But I believe this projector to be the best value for the buck.
Strengths: Excellent color, lots of inputs, very easy to setup, fairly quiet.
Weakness: Big unit, but you won\\\'t be moving it around all the time anyway. Horizontal and vertical adjustments not motorized.
I owned the Panasonic PT-AE1000U before for about a year and just recently upgraded to this new model. Both units are about the same in size and weight. This new model seems to have a sharper image and the brightness is improved a little over the old model. I think this projector is the best bang for the buck right now.
Strengths: high-def, high contrast and vivid color
Weakness: a bit bulky, and no keynote adjustment for vertical shift
Bouth this projector to replace my old inFocus X1, and I love the experience it brings to me. The brightness is good, the contrast makes a whole lot of difference, and more important, since I like photographers, so the accurate color on this projector makes it the only one I've used that I'd like to watch pictures on, all others just don't get the right color.
Strengths: 1080P
Weakness: It is huge and heavy
This is the best 1080P Home Theater Projector without a doubt. The 3LCD technology gives vibrant and richer color in comparison to DLP in my opinion. For a 1080P projector, 1500 lumens is so much nicer in comparison to other 1080P projectors that have 1000 lumens or less. The only thing is that this projector is huge. It is bigger than it looks in pictures. Recommended for all home theater...
THE GOOD: Excellent value; produces a deep level of black; solid feature package with lots of setup options like horizontal and vertical lens shift; superb connectivity including three HDMI inputs and a PC input. THE BAD: Inaccurate primary colors of red and especially green; not bright enough to drive very large screens. THE BOTTOM LINE: The Panasonic PT-AE2000U 1080p projector is a credible...

In a side by side comparison, the Mitsubishi HC6000 and the Panasonic AE2000 come up about equal in overall picture quality when they are calibrated for optimal video performance. That is to say, they are both outstanding 1080p projectors. In terms of contrast, black levels, color saturation, and image sharpness, they are extremely close. They each have advantages over the other, some subtle and...

Surpassed my expectations in almost every way.
Strengths: Incredible picture, plethora of menu customization, great remote.
Weakness: A bit large and bulky, produces roughly the same amount of heat as my oven, manual lens cap.
I've been using this projector for about a month, and am still amazed by it... The 1080p resolution, very fast response time, and beautiful brightness/contrast combination make it look great, even when ambient light is present in fair amounts. And it's teh first LCD projector I've used that is really successful in keeping the picture extremely sharp without displaying a "screen door" effect. (My...
