Weighing less than 95 pounds and less than 19 inches deep, the HL-P5674W offers more viewing screen and less bulkiness. The secret to this engineering marvel - a compact digital projector powered by EMMY winning technology by Texas Instruments. The Automatic Digital Format Conversion System is compatible with 1080i and 720p HDTV formats, 480p EDTV and 480i SDTV formats. This system will accept any DTV, Analog TV, or XGA computer RGB input. All video signals are converted to a 16:9 wide-screen pixel count (1280 x 720) progressive display for flicker-free images.

Strengths: Input options, PQ, sleek design, good sound, reasonably priced compared to plasma.
Weakness: Nothing major so far. The only comment I have would be concerning viewing angles. High/low and far right to left degradation. Not bad, since I mostly sit right in front of it with my mouth agape!
Well, I've been researching DLP HDTVs since I walked into my local Circuit City over a year ago and spotted an HLN617W connected to an HD satellite signal. I had been looking at plasmas but winced every time I got to the point of seriously considering how to justify the high price tag. Strengths: Stunning picture. It took only minutes to set up.
Weakness: None that I am aware of at this time.
My wife and I are amazed at how simple it was to get this up and running. Literally minutes. Even the manual was straight forward and simple to follow. The picture is wonderful and when we have it on a HD channel it is stunning. I would recommend this product to anyone.
