Weaknesses:  The sound could be a little louder.
Review:  This model is replacing the SDP-2900 model which is a great unit.I eat out daily and the regular customers want to be seated behind me all the time to enjoy a movie while eating their lunch. Clear bright picture and the closes to HD you'll find on a portable unit. This model they added swivel to it.I highly reccomend this unit.

Weaknesses:  A bit heavy for its size, battery run really hot
Review:  I bought this DVD player for use in the home and car. It's rugged, and so far (cross fingers) it has survived two young children. There is a slight hum of the DVD that can be a bit annoying, but it settles down after a few minutes. We really like the design of the player. It definitely gets positive looks wherever we go!

Strengths:  cheap and plays all kinds of video format
Weaknesses:  The battery unit is a large and significantly increases it's size/weight of player .
Review:  This is a great portable dvd player in that it has progressive scan which provides very high resoulution outputs. Overall, for the price $49, I'm happy. I would recommend this player .

Strengths:  9" non glare screen, divx playback with text subtitle support, remote control, not oversized battery pack, 3.5 hrs playtime
Weaknesses:  picky on dvdr and some retail dvds, low res screen
Review:  my first portable dvd player that the main feature I love is out of the box text subtitle support on divx playback just like the way it works on PC. remote control also came in handy because I can watch it from a distance on the 9" non glare screen. unfortunately, the screen this size should have a higher resolution. 480x234 is a bit better than vcd quality and watching dvd is somewhat downg...
