Product Title: iRiver AFT100 Mobile FM Transmitter
Manufacturer: iRiver
Lowest Price: $34.95
Power Score: 4.3 | 21 Reviews
Strengths: small, powerful signal, blue lcd
Weakness: turns off after 30 sec of silence-too quickly in my opinion
Signal emitted from AFT-100 is very strong enough to outpower regular station on the same frequency. Nice blue LCD. Iriver has 3 memory slots for radio frequencies. Small, fits to any standart car power outlet. plugs directly into any mp3 player-no hassle with too many wires. i highly recommend.
Strengths: Easy to use. Adjustable frequency
Sound quality is like radio quality or a bit better. Can be used only in car since its power source is the cigarette lighter. Should have two power-source options so that user can choose either the lighter or the battery
Strengths: Good signal strength. Can drown out most weaker radio stations.
Weakness: It seems to turn itself off if my mp3 player volume is too low.
Overall the product works well. The sound quality is about as good as the radio channels. The transmitter has just one short of the frequecy spectrum that my car radio can tune to. This is good except in Los Angeles just about every channel on the frequency spectrum is taken. It still works good enough to be able to play over weaker radio stations. The product turns on automatically with the car...
Strengths: No batteries needed (uses your car's power socket), can transmit to any FM station you choose, has 3 presets, has a LCD display w/ blue light.
Weakness: Must turn car stereo's volume way up.
I was pretty happy with this fm transmitter. It was smaller in size than I expected. Having a battery-less transmitter was key for me - having heard these transmitters drain batteries quick. I liked that it plugs into your cars power supply and stays put right there. I live in an area where most stations are used, but I did manage to find 3 stations for my presets. The sound is pretty good,...
Strengths: No battery required, adjustable frequency, 3 preset memory, backlit LCD
Weakness: Average sound, average signal strength
I used this wireless FM modulator to feed the audio from portable DVD to car factory stereo. The sound quality is average, it's acceptable but don't expect a DVD/CD quality thru your system. It works ok on sedan, since the cigarette lighter is up above. However, when I try it on the minivan (Honda Odyssey), the cigarette lighter is all the way on the floor. Sometime I experience a weak signal...
Strengths: Easy to change the Frequency Light Beautiful
Weakness: Need the power from the lighter adapter
I bought this one for about three months, it works ver good, you can change the channel very easy, even in New York city, you can get very good quality, and it is very easy to operate, the only thing I don't like is it take up the lighter adapter, so you have to go to Radioshack to buy a spliter, it took another $10, and it also make the car mass, so if it can have the power it self as Itrip, it...
Strengths: Very strong reception. Good design, nice LCD display. 3 Preset frequecies
Weakness: none
If you are looking for a FM transmitter, this is the one to go. So far I haven't seen any weakness in this unit. It has very strong reception with 3 preset frequencies and a nice LCD display. You won't regret trying this out - iRiver's reputation is backing it up already.
Strengths: LCD display, 3 channel memory, Car power outlet compatible, strong enough to override existing FM signals
Weakness: Volume transfers very weak, Can't use outside of the car, Buttons are so small
Quite pricy compared to battery operated FM transmitters, but it's worth to buy. No hassle to worry about changing batteries. I have tried to use it in existing FM chnnels, and it outpowered the source.
Weakness: this product is to big
This product is to big and could be made smeller. The look of the product is good. I am a big fan of iriver products and thats way i want and returned my rca Transmitter and could the iriver one. rca sucks compare to the iriver.

iRiver AFT-100 Mobile FM Transmitter
Strengths: Having the ability to choose three FM channels, should you go through an area that has one of them actually be a radio station. Ease of reading numbers.
Weakness: none found so far.
This is the fourth iRiver AFT-100 that my family has purchased. This one was for a friends birthday. They are very easy to use, and very convenient. Great product.
