This is the best speaker for the dollar. You wouldn't believe you are getting much more than what you paid for. However, this is refurbished, so some itty bitty things can annoy you. For mine, the remote works 30 percent of the time. So I give 4 out of 5 for the stars. Definitely would recommend it for a friend. In fact, I got two for myself.
Strengths: good deep bass,clear vocals ,stylish.
Weakness: no radio, doesnt sound that good once you get above it or to the side.
over all i think this is one of the best ipod speakers you can get it is probably the best one i have ever heard. It has really good clean deep bass and clear sound and vocals.

great brand and product, crisp sound and style. have used past iPod speakers and this has been one of the best to use in terms of sound quality. sometimes wished it was better for space saving, but it looks great in some places better than others. highly recommended
