Weakness: sd picture quality, sensative power supply
The tv is best bought on sale (for under $500). The HD picture is good quality once calibrated. The SD picture quality on the otherhand isn't so great, if like me you prefer to stretch the image to fill the screen you get a lot of artifacts (the built-in scaler doesn't seem to be of great quality). Overall not a bad tv for the bedroom.
