This model has been around for a while so I would say its on its way out as better featured lcd tv's are introduced by viewsonic. However, this is a good tv for the bedroom, the kitchen, etc where you dont use it a lot or dont want to invest a great deal of money in a tv. Strengths: Has nice styling and sturdy swivel base. Picture is very good with direct multiple inputs. Good tv warranty and sturdy packing.
Weakness: Speakers are small. black level affected by brightness setting. minimum cables provided.
Although picture is good, brightness must be lowered to improve contrast and black levels compared to a CRT tv. Good value for a 20 in. LCD TV is great for countertop viewing. Picture is very good with a direct source inputs.
Strengths: Sleek-looking, displays standard definition (SD) picture well. Good price.
Weakness: Not HD, not widescreen (not surprising, since these two features often go hand-in-hand). Minimal cables included.
This TV is great for those who aren't ready to make the jump to the world of high definition widescreen TV yet still want to experience the convenience and sleekness of an LCD TV.
