THIS TV HAS ALL THE FEATURE THAT I WAS LOOKING FOR AT A REASONABLE PRICE. TOSHIBA BRAND HAS GOOD REPAIR RECORD ACCORDING TO LEADING CONSUMER MAGAZINE. OWNERS MANUAL CONFUSING AT TIMES WHEN TRYING TO ADJUST PICTURE TINT,SOUND, ETC.

I bought this TV as a gift and did a fair amount of research before hand as I did not want to go through the hassle of returning it. After deciding on the size of the TV (37), it was an easy decision to go with a 720p as opposed to a 1080p. Looking at this 37CV510U right next to a 37RV530U(1080p) and you can tell no difference when watching HD television. The PixelPure® technology is also nice...
Strengths: Clear images with high def signal. Sound sufficient. Great price, especially on sale at $549.00.
Weakness: Picture quality varies on standard cable stations. Color can vary depending on signal. Best used with high def signal and box from cable company.
Owned for three months. Good picture quality and sound when hooked up to high def signal. Images not as clear on standard digital signals but acceptable if don't mind. Important to remember that the signal into the unit determines picture quality. Standard digital signal not as clear as high-def signal so get cable company special receivers for HD.
