42" Sylvania Plasma HDTV
Strengths: Easy set up
Weakness: Some channels are a bit fuzzy
I have to say that we greatly enjoy our new HDTV, all the hd channels come in so clear, others are ok as well. I love the fact that it was easy to set up and we enjoy using it, you will too. We paid $1000 for this tv, which was a great price at BJ's over the holiday.

great tv
Strengths: fantastic picture in HD
Weakness: fuzzy picture non HD
We brought the unit home, plugged it in, hooked up our cable, and ready to go. Automatic channel selector searched our available channels, we did nothing. I don't understand what all that tech jargon is all about and I don't care. We plugged it in and on it went. We popped in the dvd movie TROY, and oh my GOD what a picture. Our HD channels are great, our non hd channels are fuzzy at the edges....

Great Entry-level Plasma
Strengths: Beautiful picture, sleek design, bottom mounted speakers, side input is convenient, removable and standard power cord
Weakness: Very few set-up options in user-accessible menu, a few more inputs and custom set-up options would be nice.
I returned a 56-inch rear projection Samsung DLP and brought home this unit. Set-up was easy and the picture is very nice with a good source input. I'd gladly buy a monitor without speakers or tuners! This is a good...

Good Value
Strengths: Nice image, nice price
Weakness: loud cooling fan can be distracting, no vga input, 90 day company warranty is shorter than most and no extended warranty option
I bought this TV at BJ's Wholesale Club for $999. Easy setup, nice HD image quality, but SD is not so great. The exhaust fan is somewhat distracting. Nice looking set overall.

Plasma t,v,'s
Strengths: great for the price, Beautiful picture and if you like style this is it.
Weakness: Audio, only puts out 10watts.
This is a great t.v. over all. don't let the word Plasma scare you away. I've always heard LCD'S last longer. Well my thought on that is if you want to keep something in tip top shape take good care of it as you would yourself. So if you want good quality for a good price this is the way to go.
