The Sony PFM-42V1B is a 42-inch plasma monitor that is stylish and rugged with increased brightness and contrast ratio featured in an exception new plasma panel. The PFM42V1 is equipped with a WVGA panel (852 x 480 pixels), a 7W x 2 digital audio amplifier, a 1.08mm pixel pitch and picture and picture (one video and one PC) capability.It features built-in anti-burn technologies for a long life. It supports all SD and HD formats and has progressive scan conversion. With DVI, RGB/component, S-video and composite video inputs, you can enjoy all of your favorite types of media with your plasma display. It includes a closed caption decoder for high ambientnoise applications such as clubs, stadiums, arenas and restaurants.

Strengths: Picture quality.
Weakness: Loud fan, short lifespan!
I purchased this particular Plasma TV because it had, by far, the best picture of the other plasma screen TVs in the shop. I fell in love with it and paid the ungodly retail price of $4,500 (which was 20% off since it was an open box).
