We really enjoy this TV. To get around the sound issue, we just connected powered speakers. Colors are vivid adn setup was very user friendly. The viewing angles are also good.

Magnavox DOES NOT stand behind product! Bought brand new in May of 07, TV stopped working in Jan 08. Called Magnavox customer service. Would replace if I paid $200.00! 9 month old tv just stops working! No recourse, tv is junk. Please beware, and if you must purchase, get an extended warranty.......you

Waste of money
Strengths: Worked fine for awhile but then...
Weakness: Sadly, junk...waste of money!
I bought this new in December 2007. Starting in September 2008 when I turned the TV on it would make a noise, flash then shut it self off and turn back on by itself. It progressively got worse...loud noise, shuts it self off and then comes back on. The process takes 5-10 minutes. Once its through with the ritual it seems to work ok.
