Strengths: Clear picture with a dvd player that actually works. The sound is pretty decent.
Weakness: Will not play compressed videos
I truly did my homework on this purchase and I'm satistfied. I still recommend getting an extended warranty with any lcd with a built in dvd player.

Strengths: Good colors, viewing angles, DVD player
Weakness: Black levels could be better. Cannot play compressed video.
I looked at different TVs and didn’t see any that has better colors. The level of black is not as good, but one can notice it only in a very dark room.
