Strengths: Color PDA runs Linux, interoperates with Windows
Weakness: An included internal wireless NIC would be nice, as then the CF slot could be used for mp3/photo storage instead of the SD slot.
Wow. This should still be a $400 PDA and you can get it for under half that. I love my Zaurus and people are always impressed by it when I pull it out. Surf the real web in full color wirelessly and do it all under Linux. That's what makes the real difference because the Linux community has made a ton of killer applications and games for the Zaurus. It's my mp3/ogg player, PDA, and wireless web...
Strengths: It is linux based....so it rocks
Weakness: none
Great product. Great PDA. Nothing more, nothing less. You can install the OpenZaurus 3.0 open source rom and then you are in GPL world. A must buy.
Strengths: Beautiful Color Display, built in keyboard, both SD & CF card slots. But above all, it's stylish and easy to use. Documentation is simple. Infared port (palm compatible). Headphone/Mic jack.
Weakness: TCP/IP setup was a _little_ dificult. No sketch pad included. No external Speaker or Mic.
The overall daily operation of my zaurus is excellent. All basic PDA functionality was there except for the Sceth Pad, but I found a good link for free software (www.killefiz.de/zaurus...) where I downloaded and installed 'Sketches of Q', which works great. When Installing packages, some Opie Packages don't work because they are made for a free version of the OS the zaurus uses. I stuck with the...
Strengths: A+ Display. Terminal Capability (Telnet). Built-in Keyboard. Compact Flash Port. Easy but powerful OS. Linux based. Runs JAVA applets. Lots of apps to download already.
Weakness: Difficult TCP/IP set-up. Documentation is poor. Well written but lacks content.
Best PDA I've ever seen. Full access to Linux OS through Terminal and file browser. Display is outstanding. Plays MP3's and MPEG1. CF port and keyboard are key features. Hancom Office suite edits Word, Excel, and PPT files nicely. Lots of other included apps. Years ahead of Palm. Many more features.

Sharp Zaurus PDA
Strengths: Flexable, due to Linux OS...
Weakness: Small keyboard... Duh.
Syncs with Outlook, runs PPT, MP3's, MPEG, Word, Excel, Apache, Nessus, CF slot, and SD slot (though not SD). I connect to network with CF Netgear Wireless NIC. Considering 2.2 GB CF Microdrive for MPEGS and MP3's.
