Description:
Shredder offers a Jam Proof System that eliminates frustrating jams by preventing overloads and powering through misfed paper. Time-saving sheet capacity indicator measures paper as you shred to ensure maximum capacity at every pass. Shreds 17 sheets per pass into 5/32" x 1-1/2" secure confetti particles at 12' per minute. SafeSense Technology features an active sensor that stops shredder immediately when hands are too close to the paper opening. Space-saving design includes a large 9-gallon pullout bin and casters. Also shreds staples, paper clips, credit cards and CDs.

Intellishred SB-99Ci Shredder - a Great Machine
Strengths: This shredder is very quiet, it is impossible to jam, and the features are fantastic.
Weakness: I have not found any weaknesses for this product.
The Intellishred SB-99Ci Shredder is a fantastic shredder. I am in the process of clearing out old files, so it has been used quite often and continuosly. It has handled the job extremely well. The size of the basket is great compared to other shredders that I have used in the past. It is truly jam-proof as well, and it handles staples and CD's without any problems. Strengths: Excellent shredder, no problem since I inherited it in the past 4 years.
Weakness: Close it gently, don't force or slam it. I think someone did and broke the latch on the receptable that collects the papers.
The Fellows SB 99Ci is an excellent shredder. However, after sharing with others, the latch on the basket broke and was accidentally thrown out with the shredded papers. It's not workable without the latch.If I can somehow obtain a basket with latch, I would very much appreciate it. The machine is durable.
