Strengths: good value for money .... usually priced on sale around $75
Weakness: I am always a little leery of plastic gears grinding away in a plastic bushing
I do like this shredder. First of all security wise it is great because it cuts paper into shards. Secondly, it has useful features. One knock is the thickness of the plastic base on which the shredder head sits. It could have been thicker and therefore more stable. It is rated at 12 sheets at a time but try and put fewer in and you will have the unit last longer. Has a cd/dvd slot as well. Also...

Medium Duty Shredder
Strengths: Quiet operation. Straight cut and works as advertised.
Weakness: Flimsy case especially when the paper basket is removed.
My experience with shredders is that they don't last. This unit came highly recommended by the knowledgeable sales rep. Shredder machine (top portion) is solidly built and works quietly, smoothly and fast. This is a necessary home office machine that I hope to get years of use out of especially around tax season. I would give this unit a 5 but I will have to wait to see how long it lasts.

Strengths: Styalish, powerful, quiet,
Weakness: Shredder is abit heavey, container is flamsey. assembly not easy.
This shredder is more powerful than for normal use. shredding CD was a breeze and quiet.
The shredder was a bit heavy and paper retainer was very thin plastic. Wish it was a bit thicker. I was afraid that I was going to break it while I was trying to put the shredder top of it.
Price is a bit high but i am happy with the purchase.

Great Shredder
Strengths: Shreds with ease, very solid and sturdy. Love the front cabinet style bucket for easy emptying.
Weakness: Love the idea of the SmartSense auto shut off, but it doesn't seem to work if you stick a finger directly into the slot. I would still be hesitant to leave my 1 or 3 yr old within reach of it.
I would definetely recommend this shredder. I bought it because of all the great reviews I read and I am pleased that I did! It looks good, works well and empties easily.

This thing is a beast
Strengths: Will shredd just about anything; cds, credit cards, staples, paper clips
Weakness: None
This far exceeded my expectations of how well it would work. Its just the right size for a medium use shredder. Also has a nice saftey feature that if your hand gets to close it will shut off. Great product.
