Description
We all know that setting up a home theater system can be a tedious process, especially when you're trying to figure out where to hide the wires for your surround sound speakers. Thanks to the SH-FX60 rear wireless receiver and transmitter, you can eliminate wire connections made from the main unit of your home theater system to the back of the room. Simply add this model to a compatible Panasonic home theater system and you'll be able to form a wireless connection between the main unit and the surround speakers; just set up your wireless receiver at the back of the room and connect your rear surround speakers to it.

Strengths: Great Sound, No interference
Weakness: No, so far
Got this unit when I purchase Panasonic 740 home theater system for free from Bestbuy. Because the frequency of this unit is same as my cordless phone, so I tested a few times. Everytime the sound works great without interference or drop. I'm glad to have it.
Strengths: Sound quality is great. Installation was easy.
Weakness: None that I can think of
I have no complaints about the product. Everything about it works great. The price was not bad either. I would recommend this product to anyone. Panasonic has always been a great company to deal with.
Strengths: Compact size; Works where running wires is not feasible
Weakness: Not totally wireless (see below); Transmission signals sometimes fail
The SH-FX60 Transmitter & Receiver provides the convenience of no wires running to the rear speakers from the main system. But this does not mean at all that the rear speakers do not use wires. They need to be connected via wires to the SH-FX60 that is plugged in a power outlet. The SH-FX60 seems to work most of the time; transmission signals sometimes fail, especially when a large obstacle (e.g....
Strengths: Wireless with no wires running from the front to back of the room
Weakness: Still have to connect the rear speakers with wires.
I bought this item from HHGregg. Also I got a great deal all in all along with the SC-HT940 Home Theater in a box. Total Cost $442. Can't beat the price even online. HHGregg had this item on sale for ~ $75.00 last week. So far the item works great and receives the signal well. Have not had any problems with objects blocking the signal. Also it is very easy to setup. Attach the rear surround...
Strengths: no wires from player to rear speaker. great sound quaility
Weakness: for the price i expected to be more for larger room. Sometime a bit frequency interruption when cell rings/machine ie. microwave is using.
overall very good. in stead of 5.1 speaker i use this upgrade kit & the wires for extra rear speakers come up with 7.1 speaker sound home thereater will great sound.. you give it a try! no long ugly wire sticking out
Strengths: No wires running accross the room for the rear speakers. Easy to setup
Weakness: No Power Switch
SH-FX60 is good in terms that it provides wireless connectivity for the rear speakers hence no need to run wires across the room. Little expensive $135, compared to the price I paid for PAN SCHT40 Panasonic Home Theater System. Though it is wireless still you need to physically connect the rear speakers to SH-FX60. Since the rear speaker wires are not long enough, I had to mount SH-FX60 on the...

Panasonic Rear Wireless Upgrade kit
Strengths: No wires to connect from front of room to back Easy to set up
Weakness: Still had to figure out how to run wires in the back of the room from the kit to the speakers
I think the rear speaker kit is a good idea. When I bought it, I didn't realize the speakers had to be physically connected to the kit. I had to run the wires from the kit to each speaker, meaning I had to figure out a way to hide the wires - the main reason I wanted wireless in the first place. The sound quality is not bad from the system.
