The SanDisk Sansa Clip 2GB has numerous attractive features. The one that convinced me to buy it is the fact that your selection will pick up where you left off the next time your turn it on, which is especially helpful when listening to books or podcasts. I'm very pleased with this player so far.
Strengths: size, the screen, the choice of contrasting colors on the screen, the simplistic button scheme, possible plug and play features, flash drive possible, Uses a typical usb cable, and the built in clip.
Weakness: size (too small for some
The sandisk mp3 player is a great device. It is the size of the creative stone and similar to that of a new age shuffle. The battery is shown unlike its competitors. There are few to no complaints about this device. The menus are simple to navigate and everything is straight forward. A FM tuner
Strengths: It's super small and weighs nothing! The ability to treat it as a flash drive (drag and drop) is awesome. No proprietary software necessary. Clip is HUGE plus.
Weakness: Can't play songs per "folder." I find that I really miss this option. Seems a little cheap (compared to apple's aluminum body). Playlists are not intuitive to create!
So overall, I really do like the player for its smallness and clip feature. I really do wish it was made of aluminum so that I don't fell I'd break it by using it roughly. It's a travel MP3 player... who wouldn't treat it roughly??? Creating playlists are a pain. You have to sync it with windows media player and use the playlist option there or download some other software off the web to help....
Strengths: tiny little gadget for a fraction of an ipod price.
Weakness: the outer shell is kind of cheap....but then again, for $35, what else can I expect?
Prior to getting this little unit, I've been using a 64mb player for the longest time. So this was a total unbelievable upgrade for me. I didn't care much about the folder option. Just the fact that I was able to store 2GB of music made me happy. I also like the FM function. It works great at the gym.
Strengths: Good sound quality, small, FM radio, voice recording, clips to your clothes, suitable for exercise
Weakness: so many options that learning the menu takes a while, needs a cable to connect to the PC for charging the battery
The Sansa Clip is great for joggers. It holds 2GB of songs, the sound is great and it is lightweight. When you want to listen to the news, the FM radio has excellent reception. The clip allows you to wear the player in a convenient location on your clothing. It comes with a short usb cable that is used to recharge the battery and swap songs. No problems with loading files and it has been helpful...

Overall good for the price paid. It has enough memory to put lot of songs for regular use. I am happy with this mp3 player and recommend this to others.

I don't have a lot of music to download and this Sansa 2gb more then meets my needs. Small and compact and easy to scroll buttons make this a great fit for the person that doesn't need an 80gb Ipod. When does anyone have time to listen to 8000 songs, never.

Strengths: Incredible sound. Fast, sensitive FM. Clean voice recording. Fast USB. Good menu system. Nice buttons. Built-in reset, clip. Scratch resistant screen. Home button.
Weakness: Insufficient docs. Not bullet proof, I assume. Not water-proof, but who cares.
I've been using a Creative Vision-M for a couple years, which is better than an iPod, but too large for some activity, such as hooping, running, etc. This thing even sounds better! And if I want video, pics, etc., I'm going to use the VM. It's great button system and nice menus make it so much easier than my VM to whip out and adjust settings with one hand while riding a bike, etc. I just can't...
