Strengths: Compact and Light, inexpensive, easy to use.
Weakness: No playlist capability, battery meter isn't always accurate, sometimes crashes. Could really use a belt clip instead of an arm band.
For the most part I love this MP3 player, it is small and very light, it has a replacable battery so I don't have to wait for it to charge and the music sounds great. I added 1GB memory card and upgraded the firmware on it and now I have some problems. The player seems to crash once and awhile so I need to pop the battery cover to "reboot" it, doesn't happen too often so it's not too bad. The...
Strengths: Excellent sound quality, battery life, size.
Weakness: Should ship with quality ear buds
The battery lock tab does appear to be flimsy. But if you are careful when opening and closing, it should last a long time. The sound quality is excellent even at 56K. At 56K, I was able to get 84 songs on the internal 128 Meg memory. I have added a PNY 256K SD card. I got it at Staples for $50 after rebate. The included earphones are too bulky. I bought $10 Sony ear buds to use with the player...
Strengths: Price - One of the cheapest Ease of Use - Very easy to use with no glitches or bugs File Transfers - Also works as a great file storage transfer device MP3Pro - Nice addition Sound Quality - Good
Weakness: Could have been made a little sturdier, but a little care will go a long way, just like other electronisc devices.
Price - This is one of the cheapest prices in the 128MB MP3 Player category, and it also has a SD/MMC expansion slot, which many others do not. You can get a Kingston 128MB SD card for $40! Ease of use - I was tranferring files onto it within 5 minutes of opening the package, and have not run into 1 problem. File Transfers - I also use it to transfer files, and 128MB is enough to transfer most of...
Strengths: Small size; mp3 and wma compatible; works with MusicMatch Jukebox
Weakness: looks fragile; armband = tourniquet
This is my second mp3 player, bought because it also plays wma files. Using MusicMath Jukebox (patch downloaded) I was playing music within 10 minutes of cutting open the package. It has great sound, takes about 50 wma files, and is so easy to manage with the right software. The display is OK (not lit) and the controls obvious. I love it.
Strengths: Small,Excellent Sound Quality for size,Ease of Use,Musicmatch rules if you upgrade to "Plus",battery life for me is at least a 12 hour shift of continuous play
Weakness: Battery Door feels cheap, Musicmatch upgrade to "Plus" to get MP3Pro capability(Cost is extra)
I work in an industrial (dirty) environment and use it at work. So far with the bad abuse that it has taken nothing has happened. The battery door has even held up to the abuse surprisingly. As far as musicmatch software being bad. Not True!!! This is probably the best software I have seen for music management yet, and it works flawlessly with the player after downloading the plug in. If you do...
Strengths: Battery Life, Size, MMC slot
Weakness: Battery Door, No way to Manage Files
Beware of the Battery door, Mine snapped open and broke just from standard use. If you want to bring a file from the built in memory to the expandable memory you can't. There is no Record mode, and I wouldn't use the headphones that came with it. The plus sides are: great battery life (about 8 - 10 hrs), Lightweight (a few ounces), And the expandable memory slot.
Strengths: very small. armband is great for jogging. ive used it to transfer files (not music)from computer to computer.
Weakness: kinda fragile. this is because of a weak connection to the battery. the battery door does not shut tightly, a hard tap will turn it off. can be fixed ,but how did this get past quality testing?
im thinking of buying this as a gift for each of my groomsmen. cheap but not the cheapest, has all the good functions of the more expensive ones.
Strengths: good sound, can transfer files easily, can add more memory(althougth its is better to buy a player to with 256mb) sd card r expensive
Weakness: can beark easily, never drop it, battery life only about 5 hours, using mp3pro format costs money($30 to buy musicmatch) not worth it..musicmatch is bad dont bother buying it..better to buy others
pretty good if u dont have a lot of files to listen...max 15 mp3 files at 192kps and 30 mp3pro files. wont last too long so be careful..its is very very very fragile. and the hold button breaks easily
someone please help me..i just bought this today and it looks nice, but i could only fit 28 songs on the 128mb memory...they guy said he put 84 in wat do i have to do? help me please..my e-mail is brasiliancrazy69@yahoo.com Thanx

Mp3 player
Strengths: Good sound, battery life, size, durable.
Weakness: no backlight
This Mp3 player has been great for the past 2 or 3 years. It still plays great. The hatch for the battery broke off about 6 months ago but I just put rubber bands around it and it still plays. I have dropped it too many times to count and it still doesn't give me any problems. I had one other Mp3 player before this one and it broke within 6 months. I would recommend this player to anyone.
