Strengths: Awesome and compact design, the extended battery life is robust.
Weakness: Can not record vioce.
The iPod mini is amazing, I love it so much. I'd like to highly recommend this because it is a extremely portable mp3 player, perfect for doing exercise and long trip. It can be also use as a portable disk.

I purchased the ipod mini for my husband who is quite the music lover. He has not stopped raving about it since receiving it. He had a little difficulty with the poor software instructions, but has since figured it out. This little, and I do mean tiny, product is definitely worth the money. I got him the armband to use at the gym, and this was also a great buy.

Strengths: I wanted an all around ipod that was easy to use in the gym, and for the money this unit was perfect. The larger units are not really good for sports both because of size and vibrations.
Weakness: To some the 4gb, but for $50 more you can get the 6gb, 1000 songs suits me fine though!!
For the money this unit was clearly the way to go for me, I was thinking for the extra $50 to go for the 6gb but for me personally I saw no reason. Apple really perfected this unit nicely!!

I brought an ipod in july and it has been a great accsesorie to carry around. i have had no problems with it. when i clip it to me i dont even feel its there.apple have made the ultimate mp3. its main menu is reasonably easy to work. I wouldnt change it.

This is my second iPod mini. The battery life is much better than my other 1st Gen. iPod. The menu features are different between the two generations. On that, I perfer the 1st Gen. May be on the 3rd Gen. Apple will make the iPods' batteries changeable by us consumers. I just change the battery on my 1st Gen. iPod and it was not easy.
Strengths: Tiny, cute and sound quality is excellent. Very easy to use.
Weakness: The battery cannot last 18 hours as specified.(In my case, it's running for around 14-15 hours)
Overall it's an excellent MP3, I love it. The quality is second to none though it's a little bit expensive compared with other models. I think 4 GB is enough to most users. I am going to buy a charger as it's more convenient to charge the battery.
