Strengths: sound quality
Weakness: none
At 30 watts, the sound is ample for the kitchen, and significantly more powerful than what I had previously. I didn't want something so powerful that needed to be played loudly in order to get full sound. That is not to say it can't put out some volume, however. As for sound quality, it is the very crisp, balanced sound that Sony fans have come to expect. For the wide range of music I play, the...
Strengths: Compact, easy to use controls, audio in jack for computer or mp3 player, plays mp3 on cd's, reasonable price.
Weakness: none so far
I bought this to convert some old cassettes to mp3/cd format. It has worked flawlessly. The sound is great, but could be lacking in power for some. I love that I can get 10 or more albums on one CD and listen to my favorite music for hours without having to change the CD. It has all the same functions as my mini mp3 player so I can see the folders on the CD, shuffle or repeat, and see the track...
This is a great unit if you want good sound without sacrificing space, and at a fair price. I have this unit in my office and it's perfect. I have the option of either listening to CD's or AM/FM radio (YES... it picks up AM!!). The sound is also clear and crisp where I can hear it, and not disturb my co-workers. Set-up was really easy and because of the micro size, I was able to put the unit...
Strengths: sound quality
Weakness: radio signal
It comes the CD player, cassette deck and AM/FM radio tuner. Overall the quality is better than expected. If there is a problem, I would say it is the radio signal receiver. The radio tuner has the automatic search function, but won't pick up many signals. The manual mode has to be chosen to pick up the frequencies wanted. Anyway, it is really an excellent product. Would recommend/buy again!

Good bang for the buck
Strengths: Nice compact size, perfect for a den. Nice sleek style too. Audio in is in back of unit.
Weakness: If you know what you're getting with this unit, there really are no complaints.
I bought this to get some tunes in our den. I'm also using Airtunes to stream music to this unit. The audio in jack on the back is nice to keep the aesthetics of the unit looking sharp. I got this on sale from a retailer for $89 and the $5 PriceGrabber rebate is always nice!
