I wanted a 2 speaker system since I wanted small size without speakers and wire all over the room. I found better systems, but for much more money. This seems to be a quality set, and I achieved my goal of getting much better sound out of my new 56" HDTV. I don't get realistic surround sound, but didn't expect it out of only 2 speakers. I was concerned about the power since it is in a big room...

Excellent compact stereo system
Strengths: Excellent sound for a compact system. Excellent connectivity.
Weakness: None.
This system generates excellent stereo sound. Speakers are great and produce nice 3D-like sound for music and movies. It plays DVD, and the picture quality was great. I have not tried, but you can hook up subwoofer and surround speakers. It also has optical input for sound. Overall, this is a great system for a reasonable price.
