Strengths: Full featured DVD player. Five individual CD/DVD thin-racks. 18 surround sound combinations. Strong speakers made from heavy particle board = no-buzz and clear sound. Very strong 185watt woofers.
Weakness: No real equalizer besides the surround options. It sure is funny looking (like a jet-pack).
Great cheaper DVD surround option on a budget. The sound is far better than the stereo surround sound built into my TV. There is an option to boost the center channel when playing DVDs to isolate the voices in loud movies! Nice remote too.

I been owning this stereo for about 3 1/2 years, and sooo far the best i own! I'm still in love with it.. will definitely recommend it to anyone... its features are great, every thing of it its great!! =]

This is my favorite stereo system ever!
Strengths: It sounds excellent and provides great bass. I like the USB connectivity and I plug the USB cable into my PC to stream audio or play MP3's. Great AM/FM reception.
Weakness: I have been listening to this frequently since I got it 3 days ago and so far I can't find anything wrong with it!
I have bought a lot of stereo systems over the years and this by far is the best I've ever owned! I like the way JVC designed the speakers, it just screams "I've got power"! I work from home, so I have this JVC on almost all day playing in the background in my home office. I would recommend this to anyone! You get a lot of features and great sound for the price.
