Strengths: It has great sound and bass effects. at 30 vol my floor starts moving
Weakness: The front speakers take some time to assemble
great system with all the latest features... HDMI works great .. just one issues cables have to be purchased separatly. even the cable for connection to TV (audio only) is not provided. But once you connect the HDMI you get great results. A must buy ... and Circuit city is giving approx $100 off (rebate and mail in rebate inc).
Strengths: the quality of sound. options look of equiptment
I'm in love with this surround sound. I previously owned the 790 series but they have since discontinued it. I'm glad to have made this choice. The sound is better and the remote definitely help with my panasonic tv. This remote has a separate vol for the surround sound and the tv itself. I thought that was very different.
Strengths: sound, assembly
Weakness: user manual, thin speaker cables, no digital input
This is great system for the price. I was looking for HTS with front tower speakers for less than $400 and this was a perfect fit. I looked at Sony but their system won't take in upgraded speaker cables. The sound is good but lack of digital input is a bit minus. If you watch HD program through your cable or dish you can't hear the surround sound just stereo.

Great HTIB
Strengths: Sound is great and it is easy to setup.
Weakness: No digital audio input.
This is my first HTIB and I have been waiting a while to purchase this item. I bought this with the wireless unit at HH Gregg for ~$442 including tax. The sound coming from this is awesome. And although the subwoofer is passive, it puts out plenty of bass. Front speakers are loud and inconjunction with the rear surround speakers, I feel like I am in the movie. This HTIB in with my Panasonic...
