Strengths: Lots of pre set equalizer settings to choose from, STRONG delivery and even STRONGER bass. Lots of input output hookups.
Weakness: I noticed the quality of the DVD not to be the best output choice.
I am pretty happy with this system, I found it to be as strong and powerful as I thought it will be with 1000W. The bass is outstanding and rarely do i use the highest setting. I found it has plenty of inputs and outputs to play and connect to other components. I am very happy with this purchase and the extra $$$ for a lower panasonic model is well worth it. The system is slick and nice to look...
Strengths: Very easy setup. Good looking unit. DVD player is great. Good quality sound.
Weakness: The remote control is kind of a kludge.
For $449.00 this system can't be beat. It has a great sound and the DVD drive plays awesomely no flutter or pausing at all on any of the discs I've put it in so far. The subwoofer has 4 presets and it's easy to cycle through them. The highs are a little bit difficult to calibrate correctly because you can't select the treble or midrange individually you can only use the presets. Otherwise the...
Strengths: The speakers are excellent and the look is very slick
Weakness: Configuration was a little confusing...had to play around with it for awhile to understand all the features.
Overall I am happy with the purchase. It matches the TV set and the overall look and feel. The sound is pretty clear but requires some getting use to and understanding the configuration and setup.
Strengths: Sound quality for music CDs is excellent, supports a variety of disk formats.
Weakness: Does not come with stands for surround speakers. Some of the functions on the remote control are not easy to figure out.
I bought this mainly for playing music CDs. The sound quality is beyond what I expected. There is support for multiple sound modes (surround, super surround, DL-II, etc...) and it is extremely easy switching between these modes. I played a few DCVs and I find the picture quality very good as well (I am not into watching movies though...). I find this purchase to be excellent (especially...

The central unit, featuring a five-disc changer, plays CDs and DVDs, and supports MP3s and JPEG photos stored on CDs while dropping the VHS capabilities offered by earlier models. Dolby Digital and DTS surround sound processing accompanies...

Panasonic SC-HT920 Home Theater System
Strengths: good design, 1000W power
Weakness: need speaker stand for suround speakers.
We been using this for 3 months. It's been working very good and the price is very reasonable. Compare to sony, you cannot have 1000W with this price. Even though I put the woofer down to the end, the sound is still good. Excellent for home. ( I am not sure for professionals cause I am not sound mania.)
