Strengths: DTS-ES, 100 watts per channel, price, 6.1 audio
Weakness: Sony has a 2 year warranty, Panasonic has 1.
I have this receiver paired with the Sony SA-VE335 5.1 set + matching Sony SS-V331 satellite speaker to produce 6.1. I have this setup in my bedroom and it rocks! Another plus is that my XBOX and Progressive Scan DVD player are connected through the receiver and it does all the switching of components for me. My tv only has one set of component plugs so this really helps out. Plenty of connection...
Strengths: Product was fairly easy to attach existing components to.
Weakness: The manual made the actual use of the reciever more difficult than neccessary.
Refurbished product condition exceeded expectations. Reciever works well, with easy to understand panel controls. Consumer Reports ranked this reciever as a "CR Best Buy", and I can understand why.
Strengths: Powerful unit, Panasonic has done it again.
Weakness: That I am aware of, nothing!
I have this unit connected with my Technics (SB-A28) 3-way speakers and this sound is truly impressive! It's a shame such speakers are discontinued! But this unit has inputs/outputs for components, audio/video input/output. And the best of all, it has a built in decoder for digital inputs. I recommend this unit to anyone!

Strengths: Very easy to set up.
Weakness: The instructions could have been presented better. I found them a little confusing at first, but was able to figuire them out after studying them for a while.
Product was delivered in 3 working days. The sound and performance of this product was found to be exceptional. I highly recomend it to all.
