Strengths: THX sound processing, 125RMS into 7 channels, HD radio, HDMI upconvert, macro programmable controller, audyssey auto-speaker calibration, brillant sound to speakers,lots of autodetection
Weakness: High Price, no setup display on TV in HDMI mode, fairly large and requires space (8 inches each direction) to not run hot. It is easy to setup , but to realize the true full potential 94pg manual
I never realized my speakers could sound so good especially after using the audyssey microphone setup with multiple calibration positions. Even the bad singers on American Idol sounded great! Very brillant, clean sound. Can drive clearly at loud levels with no distortion or clipping. The HD radio is great along with the auto station setup for 60 presets. Also supports XM radio.
