Good sound - survived thundershowers - but extremely...

Strengths: Pretty good sound, truly water resistant

Weakness: Fragile, breaks VERY easily

This is an updated review. My initial review gave it 5 stars. Sony must have changed the design and/or materials in such a way that these headphones are now extremely fragile. I went through 3 sets before I gave up. My local store clerk was very understanding. Each time, the headphones broke in a different location. I thought I was going nuts and that there was something wrong with me. If you...

Best sounding headphones pound for pound (or ounce...

Strengths: Great sound (lots of volume and BASS) Light, can't even tell you're wearing them Foldable, compact These will stay on your head, no matter what you're doing Cord length is actually generous (1m)

Weakness: With lightweight comes fragility If you take care of them, they'll take care of you, but if you're one to put your personal belongings through abuse, these probably won't last you long

These headphones are simply effective. First off, these are SPORTS headphones, so if you're a true audiophile looking for a pair to lounge around with (ie. not while physically exerting yourself), then look elsewhere. Seriously, for their size and intention, these really sound quite good. They have plenty of bass, and treble frequencies are nice and crisp as well. Despite some quabbles about...

sony headphones

Strengths: small, compact

Weakness: easily broken

This headphones are small and compact, easily portable and fit in a pocket well. They have good sound. However, it is easy to put them in a pocket and forget they are there, and cause damage to them.

Nice Sport Headphones

Strengths: Very light, nice fit, exceptional sound.

Weakness: Perhaps a little fragile

If you need a good quality sport type headphone, and like me you hate ear buds, then this is the one for you. Lightweight, nice fit, and exceptional sound for a small sport unit. I will use these for running in the summer. In the winter I will use an over ear type that fits better under my knit hat.

Sony MDR-A35G Headphones

Strengths: Compact, great for walking/jogging, airplanes. Good sound, great price

Weakness: none

The headphones are great for using with my MP3. I use them on airplanes and when I go walking. They fold up so can be tucked into a purse of glove box. I lost my first pair so have been using the same brand for about 2 years.

Sony MDR-A35G Headphones

Strengths: Great sound and fit, comfortable

Weakness: None

Some people prefer earbud style, but I can never get them to fit right or stay in my ear. These headphones are some of the best for listening to a music player or working out. They don't compare to my BOSE Quiet Comfort2's but those are for travel and movies. These headphones are great for working out.

Temporary

Strengths: Fit, waterproof

Weakness: Fragile

I had used this for only a month before it snapped apart. I thought this was a sports headphone that was suppose to be durable during running or exercising, but found the opposite to be true. I am very disappointed in this purchase, and with the overall quality of Sony's product lately.

Delicate. Broke like waterford crystal dropped on...

Strengths: Good performance. Sound was well balanced.

Weakness: Headphones broke when I tried to adjust the length. Did not use much force.

They are adjustable, and I tried to adjust. The left earpiece came off in my hand. I glued it back on. Then the right earpiece broke on the same day. The call this a sports headphone. Maybe the sport is chess.
