I bought these headphones for a flight. I looked at reviews for a lot of products, and I did not want too spend too much. The AIWA looked OK until I saw all these reviews about how prone to breaking they were. Then I found the Panasonic. A lot like the AIWA, but the unit seemed more sturdy through the packaging. And indeed it is. Nice sound, comfortable, external power unit with variable volume....
