However, if your willing to look passed the price, you won't regret it. Now that out of the way the Beats Dre Red Solo's are really good headphones. I am not a sound engineer or in the music industry, but I'm a big music fan and have been through many high end music systems whether it is for headphones, home entertainement, or vehicle sound systems. I also conduct a lot of test and researchs on many of these products. I had these headphones for about a week now and they have not sold me short. I played almost every genre of music on them; hip hop, rap, r&b, dance, oldies, rock, pop etc and they sound great in every genre. The headphones kick a lot of bass but are also fair and even toned when it comes to low's, mid's and high's. Also a lot of people are saying they are not "durable", I find them to be fine. They are not heavy duty and shouldn't be treated that way. If you are looking for a durable, fashionable, great output pair of headphones, these are your best bet. "
