Strengths:  Ease of use. Great booklet and many, many features.
Weaknesses:  My last one only lasted about 4 years.
Review:  My last Garmin 76 only lasted 4 years. It then would not power on via the batteries and quit picking up satellites. I was very pleased with the ease of use and how rugged it was. I used mine mainly while fishing offshore and it brought me to and from my waypoints in bad weather, many times. I've recommended buying a Garmin to several of my friends.

Weaknesses:  Display is difficult to read in bright light.
Review:  Speed function from sensor quit working after about 1 year and have only GPS calculated speed. After 18 mon, the cadence quit working, so I replaced battery on cadence unit. I followed directions and cannot get speed or cadence synced back to the main unit.
