my first gps
Strengths: multiple functions versatile easy to use text to speech after update waterproof
Weakness: should have a case, data and ac charger, but I guess like injet ink, they want to make some more $
this is my first gps so I am no expert and still learning the ropes. Worked fine out of the box and is fairly intuitive and easy to set up. I used a USB cable from my WD Passport drive which worked fine to register, update to rev 3.40 so I now have text to speech. I particularly wanted the compass and elevation. I'm not sure about how to best use the compass, but the elevation works pretty well...
