Strengths: Size, Easily understood voice, large database of places, language translation option, maps of Europe
Weakness: Database of place bu location has issue when entering a location by type or name. Battery is not user changeable. No option to link to FM radio in car. No South QAmerican maps
The Nuvi 370 is a great unit in the car or in your pocket. The unit is a little slow on the initial boot but fast calculation after the unit is running. The choice of voices is good and the voices are easy to understand. When using out of the car on battery power there is no way to replace the battery if it runs down. So far I have used it for about 2-3 hours on battery but I could see an issue...
Strengths: size, graphics...loads of "voices" and accents!
Weakness: takes some time for it to detect the satellite when turned on...
the garmin nuvi systems are the best...i had a magellan before, but i like the graphics on the nuvi, as well as the voice options...bluetooth is handy...picks up phone calls very well...very handy for "hands-free" calling...so far, great navigation in the usa...haven't tried it yet in europe, but expect the same superb direction...
Strengths: Size & weight. Map views are great. Will mark "Current Location". Very important feature if you have an emergency or need help. Also, The traffic reports are very helpful.
Weakness: Do not care for the external Traffic Antenna Wire. Blue Tooth sound echos to the person on the other end. It's better than nothing. But not great.
I have a Nuvi 350 and a Nuvi 360. The 370 is not necessary if you're not going to Europe. I enjoy all of these units. I bought the 370 for the Traffic Reports. Nice option. However next time I would buy a unit with an internal antenna/receiver. These Nuvi's are remarkable. You will not regret buying one.

I bought this Nuvi 370 North America GPS about 10 days ago. Works fine so far. This device is compatible with my Motorola V325i phone despite not being on the list of compatible phones at garmin website. Bluetooth is very noisy. Looking forward to use it on my trip to Italy this summer.
Strengths: contained US and Europe maps small and compact, Battery time is usable Nice screen and touch
Weakness: Lousy shortest-path algorithm - not always pick the best way. Attenna flipping is inconvenient andannoying. Boot time is slow. Reconfirm the usage license everytime is stupid.
- The Bad & urgly: Over price compare to Magellan. Half-bake features such as dictionaries with no sounds or travel books (no full feature). Booting up is way too slow, at least 1 min. Product packing is unbelievable stupid (they protected the accessories but not the unit, no plastic cover, cushion, etc. No instruction on how to load MP3 and pictures. - It can't find the shortest path correctly...

Strengths: Compact, accurate, user friendly, speaks words, fast re-routes
Weakness: Longer cold bootup time, mounting difficult since CA does not allow windshield mount.
This GPS unit operates very smoothly. Out of the box, it works well and is very intuitive. The menus are pretty much self explanatory.
