Had this machine for 6 months and have used it very little (less than 40 pages printed), yet the ink cartridges are half empty. Seems the head maintenance process (which occurs daily automatically to avoid head clogging) uses ink. Guess it's the price to pay to avoid clogging... Weakness: Slow to print. Print quality is not as good as other injet printer.
A good value for phone, fax and occasional copy needs. From time to time, Office Depot offered a $40 rebate. Ink may be purchased from inkjetsuperstore.com for $3.95 each of the four colors. Phone sounds well. Speed is slow. Copy quality is OK, but not as good as most inkjet copiers.
