Strengths:  Simple to use
Weaknesses:  The only complaint I have is that I can't view any non-finalized DVDRWs using my pc

Strengths:  Record and replay live tv with DVD-RAM disc. Records almost the same as any VCR. DVD-RAM disc are easier to replace than hard drives.
Weaknesses:  Long learning process but the guide is easy to follow.
Review:  I personally like RAM drives as what is in the DR-1, Easierto maintain than a hard drive and no chance of signal coruption or possible viruses. It is a great machine....look for its bigger brother D-R2 comming soon
