Strengths:  Good price; easy setup; replaces two component elements with one; CD/DVD and tape player work well.
Weaknesses:  Power shuts off randomly; rear connections faulty; remote control lacks distinction.

Review:  I bought this primarily to play music cds. I had an older Sony multi-player unit but it lasted me only a few years and it broke down. I'm hoping this is an improved version. This unit is cheaper and looks sleek and thinner.
