The SD-590 plays prerecorded DVDs and your own edited content, whilst allowing playback of DivX video and audio files, one of the most popular file compression formats for internet content. The SD-590 has an HDMI connection, it up-scales standard definition DVD content to 720p, 1080i and 1080p, giving your existing DVD collection a near high definition appearance. REGZA Link allows simultaneous operation of multiple devices from a single remote control via the HDMI connection (compatibility dependant). The SD-590 lets you play your MP3 music and your photos through its convenient JPEG viewer. The USB port lets you access MP3, JPEG and DivX files from flash drives etc.
