The Coby DVD-224 DVD player is has a sleek design, perfect for tucking under a light-weight, flat screen TV. This model has improved over earlier products which had audio scratchiness. Visual clarity is very good.

Strengths: Great clear picture on the TV. Nice looking metal casement. An excellent value for the price.
Weakness: The hook-up instruction in the actual manual and the quick setup guide are different. I needed to use the quick guide which made hooking it up to the TV simple.
This is my introduction to DVD with the exception of the player that came with my PC. I find the picture and audio quality to be excellent on my older TV. I do not expect to be playing many VHS tapes in the future
