I just got the wire today. Have to say the installation instructions in the supplied manual were confusing. And I'm not a newbie. First it tells you to install the latest driver from the Nokia website (which installed without a hitch) and then it says: put the CD Rom in and install the driver from it. Performs exactly what I was hoping for - sync...
Strengths: Thorough software suite downloadable from Nokia. Easy installation without any tweaking necessary. Syncs with Outlook with one click.
Weakness: Sometimes doesn't sync the first time. Software hangs with some buttons.
I bought this cable to sync a Nokia 2126 Tracfone with Outlook. I didn't want to spend the money on a PDA since all I really needed was a good calendar which would give me reminders.
