Review:  Nice DECT 6.0 cordless phone, which will not interfere with your wireless network at home or baby monitors. Remember, this is only an extention, you need a base phone to use this. Some of the button labels are not intuitive, such as the hold feature. You must press 'Intercom' to put a caller on hold for example.

Strengths:  Intercom between handsets, 5.8Ghz frequency, Customized handset naming, relatively inexpensive handsets
Weaknesses:  Orange display, long initial battery charge (15-20 hours), not all menu choices documented
Review:  I've been looking for a 5.8Ghz 2-line phone that wouldn't break the bank and this is it. ~$100 after rebate. Handsets are standardized for Uniden so extra sets can be easily bought in the future. The handsets can be named for easy intercom use. I did have to return first unit - it had scratchy background static. Second unit works fine.

Well-designed phone set
Strengths:  Nice design, good features like LED message indicator, headset jacks on handsets. And call quality is very good.
Weaknesses:  Range could be better, the range doesn't seem any better than my previous 2.4Ghz phone
Review:  This is the 2nd Uniden phone set I've had and I won't buy anything else. Wish it had a larger selection of ring tones, but that's quibbling. I just wish it had better range.

Strengths:  Really good distance with clear reception. Good battery life, good built in speaker phone.
Weaknesses:  No single button push speed dial. You can't hear yourself speak, sounds a bit odd at first.
Review:  This is a well built phone with clear reception, but a few lacking features are much missed. There's no single or two button push speed dialing, you must go through the phone book. Somewhat of a pain. Despite that - I'm buying a second one.

Strengths:  Expandability, features, stylish looks
Weaknesses:  No voice caller ID
Review:  Great phone system and by far the best looking of any phone set I've seen for sale. The amount of features, including the ability of changing not only the text color but also the wallpaper is sweet. Also, you don't need phone lines for all the satellite sets. Contrary to what the other review says, you CAN buy more phones to expand the set.

Strengths:  Nice answering machine, layout, lots of features.
Weaknesses:  None
Review:  This phone has it all. I looked all over for a phone that has an alphabetical directory listing instead of by numbers and this is the only phone I found with that feature. If you need a multi phone system with a nice answering machine this phone is for you.
