Strengths: Tons of features, sleek, and solid
Weakness: Immature OS, loud speaker sounds very cheap, no dial/wheel
Finally, I could indulge myself with a Blackberry equivalent without having to pay for the expensive BlackBerry data plan. I had this phone for a little over 1 month now. Every feature of this phone is solid and the phone itself is rock solid too, I had dropped it on cement floor twice, not a single scratch. (Well, I do have screen protector on it though). I would highly recommend it to anyone...
Strengths: Wifi, keyboard, calendar
Weakness: n/a
It's a very nice PDA with lots of features. You can have calendar, email, Wifi, etc on this PDA. Also, the picture quality is GREAT. I took some of the pictures and it was so much better than other phones. I would give it a 4/5 because of its functionality.
Strengths: compact
Weakness: need newest windows mobile software for best performance, very weak speaker, very short batt life, must purchase interent and hotspots to get interent (29.99/month), slow processor/limited memory.
29.99 for internet you'll have to cancel your internet at home... don't buy because it devalues to 1/4th original cost when you walk off the lot. Very little customer support for technical issues with email set up. T-mobile blames your email provider and email providers blame T-mobile... meanwhile your stuck with a horrible phone that won't function and no one to help you.
Strengths: Great display, very solid feel, mostly great software
Weakness: Sync to Outlook can be a BIG problem Battery cover tends to fall out when pulling phone from holster
On the whole a great phone but has two serious flaws, one of which is intrinsic to all DASH phones: - Calendar will not sync correctly to Outlook if you live in Arizona. This is a known issue and there is no work around (a patch was released but does not work, and now T-Mobile seem to have given up). For me, living in Arizona and not being able to take my calendar with me is a show stopper. I...
Strengths: Plenty of features, Reasonably priced, Sleek, & Solid
Weakness: Slow processor, Lack of battery life
First, don't be fooled by the picture. The actual unit is as sleek as you can imagine which is perfect for a QWERTY unit. The quad-band-wifi-bluetooth-gprs-edge functionality will satisfy all your pre-3G communication need. WM5 SME is still immature and less polished comparing to other phone OS. There are plenty of missing features, fine tunes and improvement need to be made by adding 3rd party...
Strengths: light weight, small size
Weakness: screen size can be bigger
Got this phone for $50 after rebate from tmobile with one year contract, it was really a good deal. It come with the phone, charger, USB cable and stero ear phone. But the microSD is not included. The screen is bright, but is not bigger enough. Speaker is loud. Overall it feels very solid in hand. definitly recommended.
Strengths: WM5.0. Qwerty key. Wi-fi. Bluetooth.
Weakness: None so far.
I bought this smartphone to replace my 2-year old HP iPAQ 6315. Its little body comes with 64MB RAM, 128MB ROM, 2.4inch QVGA. The qwerty key are very helpful, I can type SMS much quicker than before. Built-in wi-fi and bluetooth makes internet connection very easy. I also use it as a MP3 player (just got a 1GB MicroSD 1 week ago) to listen music wirelessly with my Moto HT820 bluetooth stereo...
Strengths: internet connection, signal of the quad band
Weakness: not so responsive, it's slow the program is not smart especially in capitalization and shifting of characters. No auto save of text messages.
I thought this quad band would impress me since it's suppose to function like a computer but instead I'm disappointed. Why my Motorola pink razor is more productive than this the only difference is the signal strength between the two. This is expensive too. The internet cost 19.99 to make use of this feature.
Strengths: Wifi, slim, nice to hold in hand
Weakness: volume strip too sensitive, no alphanumeric dialling helper (e.g. difficult to translate 800.abc.defg to number.
Got this for $50 from tmobile. Love it !! some things were not right out of box 1) volume strip was too sensitive.. so when talking to someone, it would reduce the volume to zero.. !! had to disable it 2) default ring volume was too low.. however later found out that I can edit the 'normal' profile to increase the ring volume. Works great after that. Another problem i faced was dialing when the...
T-Mobiles version of the HTC Excalibur Smartphone. The Dash features a 200MHz OMAP processor, 128MB of built-in Flash memory, 64MB of RAM and a QVGA landscape display. Dash runs on the EDGE network, and not the speedier 3G system, but the Dash also has WiFi built in. ... PROS: (1) generally easy to use, all functions only a few button pushes away (2) feels light in your pocket, not awkward or...

This sleek smart phone is feature-packed, yet nearly lacks the horsepower to keep up with itself.

TMobile Dash HTC Exclibur
Strengths: phone size, windows smarth phone ,wifi, bluetooth, applications, great battery life
Weakness: no touch screen, no standard earphone socket, volume slide bar
I love the form factor of this phone. Its light and compact. It has bright crisp screen. It also has all the features which a 2007 mobile phone should have. It has bluetooth , WI-FI , Micro SD slot for expanded memory space. I don't like the fact that it does not have the touch screen and because of my 3 years of habit of using Sony Clie NX 80, it sometimes annoys me.But I was knowing it does not...
