Strengths: size, excellent media player, amazing screen
Weakness: camera, the position of proprietary cable connector
Stylish phone, quite compact, slim and very lightweight. No complaints about call quality. Loud speakerphone. Excellent mp3 player, but you have to purchase expensive Sony memory card to place your song (and other stuff) on. Although screen has medium size, high-quality mp4 videos look amazing. A bunch of applications in organizer & fitness sections are useful and convenient, only calculator...
Strengths: compact
Weakness: Everything
I have used a couple of this exact model phone and each one has failed me. I can never complete a whole phone conversation with out my phone cutting out, after that it drops all my coverage for at least 5 minutes. I spend more time trying to troubleshooting than using it.
Strengths: none
Weakness: Both the original new and the warranty refurbished phone from ATT failed to work reliably.
This phone repeatedly would shut down with message requesting that a Smart Chip be inserted. Customer Service had to be contacted on three separate occasions in the first four months. Refurbished phone acted the same. New Battery did not solve the problem. Smart Chip worked just fine in other phones.
Strengths: Slim, lightweight, video pic quality are amazing. SO many options!
Weakness: Limited battery life. Limited factory themes w/o downloading another theme.
I love this phone. I've had it for several months and haven't had any problems with it. You can change the shortcuts of the menu keys and I've adapted mine to instant camera and instant text. Sound is good, speaker very good, just make sure you buy the memory card. You can get a 4 gig online even though the factory store will only sell up to 2 gig.

A Great Alternative
Strengths: Walkman, Pedometer, Audio Quality
Weakness: Screen Size, Screen Saver, Limited compatibility with a Mac
I've only had the phone for a week. I wanted an iPhone, but decided to wait for added features and lower prices. I got the Sony because I do a lot of hiking and walking while listening to an iPod and I like to have a decent camera on hand. I live in South Lake Tahoe, CA where the reception can be sketchy. I've used a Moto Razr V3 for the last couple of years and was pretty happy with it most of...
