Strengths: Good sound and picture quality, easy to use, sleek
Weakness: Buttons take some getting used to, and are not easiest things in the world to use
At first, this phone may not seem as a great phone, because it is hard to get the hang of, but after a few days it is the best darn phone you could have! I think it has great picture quality and has lots of cool features. Downloading music is also very easy, thanks to VCast. This is also a great phone to use as a "glamorous phone."
Strengths: It's a damn snappy phone.
Weakness: Standby battery life *far* less than what is stated (up to 16 days) if the screen is left on, even if it is dimmed. Not incredibly intuitive, be prepared to spend 30m-2 hrs poking around the manual.
The specific bundle that Verizon sells with the phone that includes the memory card is a *2 Gig* microSD card. They were out of them for a week at the stores I visited, so I tried to get one cheaper on eBay -- you just can't get it cheaper after Verizon's rebate. ($100 - $30 rebate = $70, unreal price for a 2Gig microSD). I finally went and picked mine up yesterday and it plugged in and is...
Strengths: diversity and ability to perform many applications
Weakness: this phone is not for a person with normal sized male fingers.
I had this phone for a very short time before I realized I'd wreck my car and even fall down trying to type anything on the micro keyboard. the way the front flips up it's very hard to get to the 1-3 buttons. Also- the primary face plate is exposed unless you buy one of the phone fanny packs which are combersome and tend to fall off when you sit in your car.
Strengths: Looks great, sound quality is good, 1.2 mega pixel camera takes good pictures.
Weakness: No flash on the camera, can't manually set the clock time, touch pad hard to operate.
I wouldn't buy this phone again. One reason is that I'm in Iraq with no signal (I knew I wouldn't have one) and can't set the clock, which makes it worthless to use as an alarm clock. It doesn't display the time unless you're receiving a digital signal. You'll have to buy a lot of accessories to get it to work like you want (Bluetooth headset, software to load music which should be free like it...
Strengths: sleek and compact, easy to access music
Weakness: buttons are too small, battery life is poor, touch keys need to be understood well with the manual
Because of its unconventional design, this phone needs some getting used to. I had to read the manual especially to understand the touch key operation. The phone is sleek and is well-liked by my kids who use it a lot for its music capabilities. This does drain the battery quickly and I am having to charge it more often compared to my previous LGVX4500 which had no music, photo or video...
Strengths: Easy to use and size.
Weakness: To fragile, small key pad and learning curve on the options landing. And most important NO sliding charger.
This phone is for someone that would seldom use it. All plastic and FRAGILE. To charge this unit, you need to open a plastic cover and insert the the plug in the unit. NO slide or easy charger! If you have big fingers ... Do Not get this phone. The plastic plug for the charger and micro SD card will wears out fast. If you do decide to get it, get the insurance. On this phone you are going to wish...
Strengths: Sleek, ease of use, good sound quality
Weakness: no speakerphone and does not play acc files
I purchased this phone because I lost my IPod in Mexico somewhere. After several hours of use I have noticed that it will be able to take the place of my IPod, but the following must be purchased: a microsd card (40 bucks 2gig) and bluetooth enabled headphones (70 bucks). It functions well as a phone and it has good voice recognition.
Strengths: Coolest design ever; solid made quality
Weakness: maybe lack of some features for somebody, but i don't know
got this phone for a couple of days. absolutely slick! everyone's comment was "wow!!!". yeah, right! it's just such a great design phone. The most drawback for me is that it lacks of a microSD slot. other than that, everything i want is in this phone: bluetooth, mp3, basic camera, ... everything. if you want a real multi-function phone, go for iphone, consider that is at least $400+ more. if you...
Strengths: sleek appearance
Weakness: bad microphone quality, difficult keyboard
Sent it in to have the microphone "fixed" and it's no better now than before. No-one can ever make out what I'm saying and apparently I sound tinny and muffly to those speaking to me. Never had this problem wih any phone previously. Would trade it in for an older less fashionable phone anyday if people are just guaranteed to understand what I'm saying!
With its rectangular shape and glossy black exterior, the LG Chocolate has the appearance of a bar of dark chocolately goodness. Living up to its name, the Chocolate is silky smooth in both appearance and in its Flash interface. However...

Cool little phone, better than advertised
Strengths: Easy to use, great sound and visual quality
Weakness: Not compatible with ipod formats. No speaker phone. Buttons not intuitive.
I needed a new cell phone and was very excited about the LG Chocolate. However, after reading numerous reviews and peeking in on some chat rooms, I was a bit apprehensive. Nothing to worry about! First of all, the phone is gorgeous looking and has a good heft, much more than you would expect. The touch pads on the main body are easy to learn, but are different than your standard cell phone...
