Earpiece Controls: Volume
Integrated Microphone: Yes
Wireless Operating Distance: 30 ft
Strengths: Great value for the money, works very well, good documentation, nice size
Weakness: Ear fit is strange, volume buttons are difficult to use when on the ear
There are only two headsets in this price range I would consider: the Plantronics Voyager 510, and this one. I chose the X3 micro over the 510 for several reasons, and am mostly happy with it. First, most importantly, the earphone and microphone work well and call quality is very good as long as the volume is not set too high. Others cannot really tell I'm using a BT headset, which is a testimony...
Strengths: overall size is nice.
Weakness: the ear hook is too big for my ear, the earpiece (speaker) that fits into the ear ends up causing pain after only an hour of use. It's also hard to locate the "+" & "-" buttons when wearing it.
I have been disappointed with this item as it doesn't fit my ears well and I have to wear a headband to keep it on as the ear hook is too big for my ears. I think it was designed more for men or at least someone with larger ears. The ear speaker also is big enough that it gets painful to have in my ear after a short time. I purchased it over a month ago and only have used it twice due to the...
Strengths: It has appealing looks on the outside and cool blue lights. You can easily turn them off when driving. Fit is comfortable in my ear and it doesn't feel like it will fall out.
Weakness: Call quality can suffer from static 15-30 ft away.
Overall, this little guy is impressive. It's the only headset I have owned, but I am satisfied. Call quality is excellent when the phone is close, which I normally do. However, if you tend to leave your phone for even short distances, quality can deteriorate. Most people on the other end do not have any issues with how I sound. I would say coolest feature is pairing with multiple bluetooth...
Strengths: comes with laptop, wall, car chargers
Weakness: small volue buttons
I bought and returned the plantronics 510, the motorola H3, and the motorola hs820 because of difficulties staying paired to my motorola RAZR v3m. This headset paired out of the box and has worked beautifully for three months now. Most important, there is NO ECHO - a problem with many headsets I've tried. Calls sound crisp and clear all the time. I bought another for my partner who wears it all...
Strengths: Lightweight and can hear well even in noisy conditions
Weakness: Can't activate call waitings from headset
The X3 Micro is one of my favorite Bluetooth devices. I enjoy the lightweight and especially the gel cap which makes hearing in noisy environments effort free. It also filters out noise pretty well.
Strengths: Clear voice, light, easy to pair and love the different charging method. I still able to listen to my handphone MP3 even the distance is more than 10m. Love it.
Weakness: Ear bud is quite big for my ear. If I use the hook, sometimes it does get loose if I make some aggressive move. Volume button is small and hard to press for guy with thick finger
This is my first bluetooth headset. Will be better if the earbud comes with different size like the Plantronics 655 and slighly wider volume button. There's minimal static when I put my phone near the bluetooth listening to music, but haven't tried making call as my phone does not has a roaming service. The overall product is meet my expectation.
Strengths: small, looks cool, sound is great
Weakness: ear peices come in just one size gigantic, you have to have the ear opening and canal of a elephant or in this case a very large kagaroo. the ear hook attachment is a bit small
i would not buy this again or recommend it just because of the ear fit. the earbud could be more like the Jabra, that means gel. the over the ear hook is a bit small, so it bites into your ear. That could also use with a bit of re-engineering. the sound is great, i can hear and speak outdoors with no problems. worked great with SKYPE bottom line: re-engineer the earfit and earhook, you have a...
Strengths: Good Sound. Easy to wear. Stays on you ear. Good range.
Weakness: Very hard to get to sync with more than one phone.
I purchased it because I own more than 2 cell phone and wanted only 1 device. Its great for 1 cell but when its time to switch to another cell, its a pain. I'm still using it but only with one cell phone.
Sorry Guys. I bought this to give it as a gift to my cousin. And hes using it and till now he didn't tell anything bad about it. How would he tell bad about it to the person from whom he received that gift.

Great headset, super price
Strengths: simplicity, multi-pairing capability, excellent design
Weakness: earpiece cover, low-ish earpiece volume
After trying several unsatisfactory Bluetooth headsets, including the Plantronics Discovery 640 and the Motorola H700, I am completely satisfied with the BlueAnt X3 Micro. And I'm a tough guy to please... The button controls are simple and well-conceived, and the multi-color LED signals (which can be disabled for night use) are easy to interpret. Battery life is superb, and the included...
