Additional Specifications
Frequency Band: Small, lightweight and stylish Excellent audio quality Nokia Pop Port connector
Earpiece Controls: Answer/End
Microphone Design: Boom
Strengths: Cord Length. Sound Quality. Answer/Hangup button on boom.
Weakness: Sensitive mic picks up background noise
I purchased this after losing the original boom mic that came with my Nokia 6610. I can barely tell I am wearing the headset. The cord is a good practical length and stays connected well but will release if it snags on something. The sound quality is good but it picks up quite a bit of background noise in a noisy setting. A small button built into the boom lets me answer without picking up the...
Strengths: Good sound quality.
Weakness: Very fragile.
Nokia's ear set Broke within the second week I owned it. Not happy at all with this purchase. I will not waist anymore money on such a weak item. I do not recommend this item to anyone!
Strengths: The Nokia HDB-4 fits comfortably over the ear. Good sound quality.
Weakness: It's difficult to plug in.
This headset fits comfortably over the ear. So far, the sound quality has been satisfactory. The only thing I don't care for is how difficult it is to plug in my Nokia 6170 phone.
Strengths: Comfort and ease of use.
Weakness: Difficult to hear without pressing it against your ear and the off switch is difficult to feel.
Ok, so maybe I don't have the most current cell phone technology (I have a Noika 3200). My state recently enacted a law requiring cell phones be "hands free" while driving, so I purchased the HDB-4 Boom Over the Ear Headset to comply with the law. It comfortably fits over either ear, but is difficult to hear unless you press it against your ear, which negates the whole "hands free" thing. There...
Strengths: Quality, comfort, price.
This is a replacement headset for one from Nokia that fit a previous phone. By far the best wired-headset I have tried. Then think about how little it costs and it becomes a best buy.. The unit works well under a motorcycle helmet. I would not say you could hold a perfect conversation, but you are at least accessible and understandable while you find a place to stop and talk.
Strengths: Cheap if bought from small surplus sellers (or are they knock off copies? Oh well!), fits ear well, very handy to have "send/off" button on headset
Weakness: occasionally the connection is suspect, but I think this has to do with the phone design and wear + tear
I love this headset, and bought the exact same one once my original one wore out (after 1 year or so). People tell me that they can understand me well, and I can hear very well. Much preferable to the dangling mic if you ask me, and more comfortable than the Jabra ones I've borrowed from folks.
The Nokia HDB-4 is an over-the-ear headset designed for use with Nokia mobile devices. Both small and lightweight, the HDB-4 utilizes an integrated earbud & microphone for hands-free operation. Plus, the unit is outfitted with noise-canceling technology, helping ensure that audio (e.g. voices) can be heard even in semi-loud environments. Most notable about the HDB-4 is its mobile functions, such...

Highly recommended
Strengths: Very comfortable, easy to use, I hear people very clearly
Weakness: Connection point seems tight, feels like it will break after a lot of disconnects, don't like the answer button
The ear holder is rubber so it's very comfortable. I'm not a fan of the answer button because I've hung up on people when trying to adjust it, accidently hitting the button. I'm not sure about the sensitive microphone problem that I've read, but people said that I come it very clearly. The earpiece is very nice and people come in very clearly as well. It also works in either the right or left...
