Not bad but could use some improvement

Strengths: It's corded and the mic does a decent job of isolating/eliminating surrounding noise so that it's not's relayed to the other party.

Weakness: It doesn't fit in the ear all that well and could benefit immensely from a foam cover like other earbuds.

It's the only corded headset for the RAZR so there's not like there is a choice other than BT headsets which are horrible with microphone noise isolation. It's not bad because it's fairly inexpensive but not one of the better ones I've used.

No go on Motorola's earbud Razr headset

Strengths: No batteries to replace b/c it is wired to the phone.

Weakness: Poor sound quality. The earbud is uncomfortable.

I wanted a basic, non-battery powered ear bud type headset for my new v3 Razr. This is the only one Motorola offers. All the other headsets are Bluetooth-based and require batteries to operate. However, I won't be using this headset because it is uncomfortable and has poor sound quality. I really wish I could find an adapter for my old Nokia headset to fit the mini-USB connector on the Razr.

Motorola SYN0896 Earbud Headset for Motorola v3 Razr

Strengths: Only headset available for RAZR. Pricegrabber dealer has the best price available.

Weakness: Not durable - clip broke off after 2 uses, but headset still works okay.

The Motorola SYN0896 Earbud Headset is a standard in-ear earphone with mic-on-cord. Has clip to make it easier to use, but clip broke off after only 2 uses. Unfortunately, this is the only headset available for the Motorola RAZR V3, so if you want a headset, it's this or nothing. If you must get one, Procegrabber has the lowest cost dealer for the official Motorola headset. I have given this a...

Motorola SYN0896 Earbud Headset for Motorola v3 Razr

Strengths: works great, love it

Weakness: kinda feels weird in my ear after a while but no more than a normal earbud, and perhaps less.

I'm quite pleased with my Motorola Earbud wired Headset for Motorola v3 Razr. The cord is about 3 3/4 feet long, and it works great. The connecter hooks securely into the battery-charger input. The price here was great, too.

Not bad for not a Bluetooth

Strengths: Price, no Bluetooth startup lag

Weakness: Cord gets tangled

I bought this headset because I needed something in the car. I don't want to wear the Bluetooth headset all the time because I think it looks dorky. I have a Bluetooth headset but, when an incoming call starts ringing, it takes too long to put on the headset, start it up and answer the call. This headset just plugs in and takes over. I have not had problems with the size of the earbud or the...

Don't waste your money on this.

Strengths: None

Weakness: It doesn't work.

A complete waste of money. I bought 2 and neither of them work. The person you call can't hear you and the voice commands don't work without shouting and looking ridiculous. I'm very disappointed in this. Doesn't Motorola test their products before they sell them to customers? I think they make this accessory weak in the hopes that folks will buy a wireless Bluetooth set - this strategy won't...

Cheap - in both senses of the word.

Strengths: Inexpensive.

Weakness: Sound quality is not good. I'm unable to use it the car.

The speaker (the part that you speak into) doesn't seem to work well. The phone doesn't properly recognize voice commands, and people on the other end have trouble hearing me. Also, sound quality in the earpiece is a bit dodgy - there's often a tinny/raspy quality to it.

Razr earbud

Strengths: Works with the Razr v3c

Weakness: Not the greatest sound

It works OK. If it had a ear foam it would be allot more comfortable. Because it is USB, you can not charge and use the headset at the same time.

Motorola Earbud

Does not work. I thought I was saving money but ended uo wasting it. Buy this in a store if you want one. It is safer. Shipping was fast but I think the earbud is a fake. It lights up while charging but will not turn on.

Motorola SYN0896

The headset features a basic black and silver design with an ergonomic rubber earbud and an in-line button for answering and ending calls. It offers noise cancellation technology to reduce background noise and also has a cable clip that can be clipped to clothing to keep the headset in...
