Installation of the unit was fairly easy and initial check of features went well. However, I spent two days (working w/ Crutchfield's tech support) trying to get the HD add-on to work. Turns out that you can only access the HD tuner through the EXT1 option (thus your normal RADIO has no antenna). Unfortunately, the EXT1 interface is horrible. Great Value, Decent Performance
Strengths: Affordable, Nice clarity, Easy to Use.
Weakness: Boring Background, Expensive Extras, Hard to watch DVD video during the day.
The avhp4000dvd is a quality product and a great value. The only complaints I have about it are that the background looks rather ugly and you cannot save pictures or files to the system itself.
