Good pruduct

Strengths: excellent battery life and solar ability

Weakness: you may have to slow down the pace when keying in as it will miss keystrokes if you type too fast

Casio has always been about Bang-for-the-buck and they have gotten really good at it too. I loved the constants and conversion features. The only aspect i don't like about this calci is it switches itself off after a short while, often while you are contemplating what to do. This is annoying because all the previous calculations in memory or the value on the display get viped out. This is why I...

Casio fx-115ES

Strengths: The most powerful, complete, well organized of all the scientific calculators. It has eight modes- comp, cmplx, stat, Base-N, Eqn, Matrix, table and Vector. It computes sums and integrals.

Weakness: None- this is comparable to a graphics calculator without the graphics.

I have collected graphics and scientific calculators for years. This is absolutely the finest available. The only feature missing is the ability to write programs. If I were teaching math today- I would urge my students to buy this calculator for algebra, trigonometry, analytic geometry, calculus, and statistics courses. It is truly a bargain. Easy to use- but powerful. In several modes, there...

Awesome Calculator - Fx115Es

Strengths: Solve for X function Solar and Battery Function Cheap

Weakness: If only it was a bit faster

This calculator is great for any science class. It does the algebra parts of the problem so that you can work on learning the science aspect rather than the math. It is lightweight an d easy to carry around. Very convenient. I would recommend it to any one who cannot use graphing calculators and can only use a scientific calculator for their classes. I actually now prefer using this calculator...

Best in class!

Strengths: Tons of features Price Large Display (for fractions) Calculus Functions

Weakness: Takes getting used to from TI calculators, but it's pretty easy to find everything

This calculator was perfect for physics and calculus. The calculus functions of definite integrals and derivatives at a point are so handy. Everyone in my class was drooling over my calculator. IT can also solve equations including polynomials. It's like a shrunken version of my TI-89! While it took some getting used to finding the buttons, it's really easy to use and the readability is excellent...

All in one calculator for engineering students

Strengths: comparatively cheaper in its class , supports complex and boolean calculations.

Weakness: did not encountered any worth mentioning weakness yet.

Being an international student, I forgot to bring my already held calculator with me to USA. needed one scientific calculator that could meet my calculation requirements throughout my engineering studies. Found its specifications exactly tailored according to my needs, no graphics but complete functional support. After use, i am satisfied that i made a right choice.

Casio fx-115ES

Strengths: Cheap, 2 lines

Weakness: 1. Case is horrible 2. No modular operation

1. The calculater case does not hold the calculator well. After carry the calculator in my school bag, they would be splited each other. That is very annoying thing to me. 2. Even it is Scientific cauculator, it does not have modular operation.
