The higher the volume the clearer the sound. They are perfect. I have them as my front speakers on my surround sound system. The price is not bad for the quality you are getting. Like the other reviews, crank them up, and they perform. Crisp clear and accurate. A great buy. The best part about it is there's no distortion introduced either. A big plus! I would definitely recommend these speakers.
