Additional Specifications
Dual-Layer Media Support: Yes
Strengths: Simple and reliable. X.V. Color support.
Weakness: Not lit remote (sometimes you will need it). What is that USB port is in the back? It does nothing! Why? because it supports only SONY BD Live 'feature' and is good for nothing...else.
Got it from Bydig for 127 - you may see much better deal in 2010. I have Sony BDP-BX2 from Costco and it came with backlit remote and HDMI cable. This S360 came with no HDMI, but you can get it for couple bucks from monoprice.com for 4-5 bucks (just make sure that it is HDMI 1.3/CL2). I had unique chance to compare identical DVD-R's recorded AVCHD video from my Sony CX100 HD camcorder. And I can...
THE GOOD: Profile 2.0-compatible; onboard decoding for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio Essential; excellent video quality on most Blu-ray movies. THE BAD: Cannot access streaming video services such as Netflix; no Wi-Fi option; no eject button on the remote; relatively slow load times; recessed USB port. THE BOTTOM LINE: The Sony BDP-S360 handles all the Blu-ray basics with ease, but it...

Poor Shipping
Strengths: Received product before Christmas.
Weakness: Shipped in original box with nothing else. Say they require signature for delivery but left it on front porch in a snow storm in original packaging.
Was a Christmas present and the person the gift was for saw it on the porch with pictures of what it was. I did not even get to see his face when he saw it. Was supposed to be a surprise. Could have been damaged or stolen from porch because anyone could have seen the product sitting out there.
